Manjusawa

“Manjusawa” was one of the most famous and most looked forward event in our uni. It was dated to be held on this 6th of March. We had a written assignment deadline and a group presentation on 8th of March. So we initially had little dilemma whether to attend the event or not. As usually, my friends and me came to our usual conclusion which was f the assignments, we should enjoy our uni life at least every once in a while.

I came one day early to my boarding just to attend Manjusawa. We decided to come to uni one and half hour early to reserve a place to sit because we knew it’s gonna be crowded. But what we didn’t know was how crowded it can really be. Even though we went that early, all the spaces to sit were gone by the time we arrived. But we were lucky enough to get the front of the “standing” rows. It get so packed later and I’m not someone who like crowded places. So I had a hard time with crowd at first, but I slowly adjusted to it.

When it was closer to start, the decorations were unveiled and we were waiting for the grand opening. But what we got was a biiiig surprise!!!! It started to rain cats and rain there. None left the place tho because all expected that it would happen even amidst the rain. That’s when we got a bonus soon.

It started thundering and lightning. We had pretty much drenched by that time. So we decided to take a refuge under a shade ad we selected pizza hut. Two in one.. we could have our dinner also.

While we were having our dinner there, we got the message that Manjusawa was postponed. We felt a little down because we came sacrificing our time to work on our assignments. But it had been way harder for the people who worked days and nights for that. So we came back again on the agreement that we would come for it again! After all, uni life is not all about assignments.
