More ice-creams | 5% for SL Charity.

We saw that a new ice cream shop has been opened in our hometown and we tried their ice creams like 2 months before. But we couldn’t try that place out after after that. I was hungry for some ice cream when we were shopping stuff for dad’s birthday celebration. So we dropped in to that place to try that ice cream. Since I’m into sweetness I tried rainbow ice cream which is a bit similar to cotton candy in Baskin Robins in appearance. My big sis ordered a vanilla oreo ice cream cz she is not a fan of extra sweetness like me.

It was the day of the scholarship exam for Grade 5 students. The shop was filled with parents and the kids. I think the parents had decided to treat them with an ice cream after their hard work. My big sis and I were telling to each other that these kids would at least be free for few weeks now which was not actually the case. The exam was over. Kids were tryna eat their ice cream happily while talking to their friends. But unfortunately, the parents were not letting them do so. They were asking the answers they wrote, comparing it with other kids and even calling their teachers to find out the correct answers. It looked like the kids would not be so free as we thought them to be. I honestly got a bit annoyed at their behaviour. These students were already coming from the so called good schools in the town, so I was thinking are the pressure these kids undergoing really worth it…. But then again who am I to judge their life out of these tiny dialogues. So I enjoyed my ice cream instead of that.

All the kids were eating ice cream in waffle cones. We also wanted to try that. So we came once back to the shop for the second time of the day after doing the necessary purchases. Big bro joined us this time. so we had an excuse that we were eating to keep him company 👀

There was a quote on the wall of that shop which got my attention. It is, “Life is like an ice cream. Enjoy it before it melts.” I think it’s a good reminder for all of us.
