One time before signing off

Our academic year has already come to an end which means it's time to sign off from the captaincy and appoint new people for the next academic year. Every year a sports council group picture will be taken with the captains and vice captains of al the sports teams. A date has been fixed to take the sports council picture. Dress code was a white saree and a blazer with only two crests.

This was the time I wore both SLUSA crest and University crest at the same time. So I was sort of excited about that.

The troublesome part was we were asked to be in uni by 6.00 a.m. in the morning. Draping a saree alone takes a lots of time, so I set my alarm for 4.40a.m. I thought of doing a simple make up only since it was juts for a picture. Waking up early is the hardest part. I woke up when the alarm rang and was complaining to myself about draping a saree that too a white one early in the morning. However, i started to get dress quickly. I was done with draping the saree, doing my hair and make up by 5.50a.m. I took a tuk and head off to uni. I was there exactly at 6.00a.m.

However, it was only 7 when they started taking pictures, and as soon it was started, rain disturbed us. We had to wait another hour to restart and luckily I was taken for the first row, so out pic was taken first. I was the first one to start taking individual pictures too, so i was done with the whole picture taking process first. But we had to wait till boys are done to take a picture of us four captains before we sign off.

That too was ended which reminds that the end of the captaincy is almost there.
