After the heat of book fair, it was shoe fair time. Colombo show fair is happening annually and it’s a place where we can buy footwear and bags for a very discounted price. This is something that I am personally excited about because I don’t like to wear the same sandal everyday but like to match them with the dress and the occasion. But I’m usually disappointed about the footwear because the quality doesn’t match the price and they get easily broken. But this sale hasn’t disappointed me even though the prices are actually very fair than what I bought from outside.
I didn’t have plans to buy a lot though because I wasn’t very financially responsible in these weeks, but it didn’t go as I planned. I would not say that all the designs look trendy and the quality seems durable, but if you can go a round you will find some nice grabs. I preferred the heels than the sandals or shoes because I personally found the quality is good and price is less than 50% of the market price. There was some good boot collection too, but I didn’t do a thorough check because I like my boots to be leather. There were some good school bags but I didn’t like the other bags much except for the collection of leather bags which had a good finishing.

I was actually promoting this to my friends also because who don’t like to shop for a fair price. When things are like this, I actually received a gift from my recommendation who visited the shoe fair. I used to wear a lot of cover shoes but I only have two pairs right now which I have purchased a long time ago. So I received two pairs to fill the void and I like the though behind buying one with heels and another without after considering about my comfort.

My mum was not very pleased at this irresponsibility, so she banned me from buying footwears at least for a year saying that I have enough already. And I also knew that she is right and I need to cut off from something to match the amount I spent in purchasing these. Most importantly, you ought to know when to spoil yourself and when to be strict.

I know this shoe fair. My sisster told me that this was the same shoe fair, which was held in here, monaragala two months ago.
