What jumka moment and temple

Sri Poopalavinayagar kovil in Peliyagoda is one of the Hindu temples that I wanted to go for so long. I was interested in it may be for the wrong reason cz I have seen it in some music videos and dancing covers which made me curious to visit it. I was thinking to visit it for some months now and I could finally make that happen recently.

I had a day where I could spend the whole day in the boarding and I come across such days very rarely now. I had my class online for four hours, so I wanted to rest in the eve without going anywhere. However, I all of a sudden to feel like worshipping to get relaxed. I thought of Kelaniya temple first but then I thought it might be crowded since it’s the weekend. Then this kovil came into my mind and I finalized it without overthinking.

I got ready and wore some matching jewelry. I got influenced by this whole what jumka trend, so I clicked a quick pic with my earrings before leaving.

There was not much shops around the temple to buy any poojah, and I could find a place after some struggle. There were many Buddhists there, than Hindus. I guessed the reason must be its main God being God Vinayagar.

I felt very relaxed after spending some time there. So I had no regret in stepping out that day which I planned to stay inside.
