So, today I wanted share with you about smoothies. What are these smoothies, how to prepare them, smoothie types and the benefits of it. So, let’s check out them.

First let’s have a look at what are the smoothies. This is a kind of thick beverage which is made with mixture of fruits and vegetables. As a base for this beverage, we can use milk or water and we can use any type of ingredients. The specialty is this is a healthy drink. We can take it for pur breakfast or else for dinner with lightweight food.

You can find many recipes for making smoothies from the internet very easily. You can use oats, nuts like cashew or almond, avocado, honey, chia seeds, banana, strawberry, blueberry, kiwis, pomegranates like fruits. If you would like to use vegetables you can use carrots, beets like things. Main types are protein smoothies, fruit smoothies and green smoothies.

I have prepared the above smoothies by using blueberries, strawberries, cashew, almond, banana, oats, honey and milk. It is very easy to prepare. First of all, you need to wash your fruits and after that cut them into small pieces. Then it is easy to blend. After that put all the things into the blender cup and add milk. Next blender them. After that keep it in refrigerator to cool. Otherwise, you can drink as it is.

Let’s check out the benefits of drinking smoothies.

Since they are made by using a variety of fruits, nuts and vegetables or oats, it contains lots of nutrients. Therefore, it includes different vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants.

Another one is it helps to manage your weight. A well-balanced smoothie helps you to reduce the willingness of having snacks. And also, it helps to satisfy your body’s nutritional needs as well.

Normally we are very lacking in adding fruits and vegetables to our meals. With the use of smoothies, you will be able to fulfill that need automatically.
