I am very happy participating in this contest and i thank @sandun98 for organising such a great contest i aslo pray that God should guide and protect all the members of steem srilanka.

My favourite hobby is playing football⚽
Some may want to know what football is; fottball is a game played with 22 players of which are 11 each of two different team which their main aim is to score goals and win th3 game.

When do i start playing football
I started playing football at the age of 7 and since then i have grown to love football the most and it has turn to my every day practice.

Why do i choose such hobby (playing football)
Every day, thousands of people gather together and kick a ball around a field. Whether i am part of a pro club or just an amateur, there are many reasons i love playing football.

When it comes down to it, the game is just as much a part of your life as my job or my family. When i am out there on the pitch, i can’t compare the feeling to anything else in the world. So, why i love playing football is that;
- It gives me a chance to meet new people
Do you want to branch out and meet new people? When you have a day job and work all the time, it can be hard to make new friends. Once you join a football team (or even just have a kick-about in the park), you will see that you meet lots of people. Before you know it, you will have a whole new group of friends. What’s even better than that is the fact that you will all have a common interest about beautiful game called football
- It helps me to be confident
Are you a little shy? Well, don’t worry about it. When you join a team of guys, you will start to come out of your shell. There are many ways in which playing football helps me. First of all, I gain a whole new group of mates. I will also find that they encourage and support me when i play the game. That social support will do wonders for me sense of self. Before i know it, i will feel like a whole new person. My confidence will shine through and i will feel fantastic.
- It’s a whole lot of fun
The last (and biggest) reason i love playing football is the fact that it is fun. It is that simple. When i am out there, i will see that there is nothing more enjoyable than playing this game. Often, people think that football is uber competitive, but that is not the case. In reality,i will get to relax and enjoy myself with a team of new people.
The great thing about playing football is there are a million different ways to play it. It's the job of the manager to mould the way a team plays, and you only have to take one look at the Elite end of the sport to see differences in the way team’s set-up and play football.

I always spend 50% of my time every day playing football because it has become part of me and its gives me excess joy.
What i feel when playing football
Football is associated with passion, emotion, excitement and dedication across the world. References to extreme emotional experiences at football games i must say i feel like i am blessed when ever i am playing football and Playing football, Playing football also gives me lots of joy even when i am angry if i enter any football pitch i will forget about everything and football has added a benefit of being fit and active, keeping my body happy too.

How has my hobby (playing football) helped me so far

Football have this amazing, unique way of making a positive impact in the society. Whether it's helping children, communities or even nations, Football make a difference on a daily basis.
Sure, nothing is all sunshine and lollipops, but there is good being done with football in my area. Team and player foundations are raising money for worthy causes, major events are boosting local economies and kids are encouraged in my area to get out and get active
So instead of focusing on off-the-field scandals or even the games themselves, let’ me take a few moments to tell you how has my hobby help me positively.
Playing football is more than just a game; it taught me;Teamwork, discipline, perseverance, goal-setting, handling success and failure, time management, and keeping fit.

The social benefits of my hobby (playing football)

Improving as a player develops self-confidence.
The game teaches children how to deal with setbacks.
Building cooperation and working in a team.
Improving communication skills using matches and games.
Making friends at football.
Football teaches discipline.
Leadership in football.

Furthermore what i will like to do with my hobby is that i will create a football academy and help many people to succeed in life through football, I will train them well and also discipline them to be great footballers.

In conclusion
I must say that i feel very happy telling the world about my favourite hobby and I hope that i have convinced you to love playing football as much as i do. Once you start playing this game, you might never want to stop.
