You won't realize how single you are untill nobody comes to your mind when you listen to love songs. It's funny because I just realized that.

Some consequences of being single for so long (for 23 years) were realized after exploring myself and the people who are now in a relationship can also relate to some of these since they also once were single people.

1.Misunderstanding.
When someone gives a simple smile, says 'good morning' or reacts on my photos on social medias I am like "oh my god oh my god! Is this love??Yeah!! He likes me". Stupid but true.

2.Doubt.
When someone actually asks out I am like "Joking right? or is this some kind of a bet or a prank or a social experiment?"

3.So many crushes.
Some actors from the latest movie or TV show I watched automatically become my new crushes. But Hemal Ranasinghe is my all time favorite😁❤. Also some random people from classes and social media can be identified as crushes.

4.Giving relationship advices.
Some of my friends ask my opinion on their bonds and I don't know why they keep comming to someone like me who don't have a single idea about love for advices. But sometimes I have felt I am motivated by my own advices.

5.Inability to flirt.
I tend to say something stupid or argue or laugh stupidly while flirting. So they don't last for that long.

6.Feeling both happy and sad about it.
When watching romantic movies or see a couple, sometimes it feels like "I wish I had someone". But when some of my friends murmur about their relationship problems it feels like "well, in that case I am lucky". But I am happy since as an introvert I love solitude more than anything.

Don't know whether I am the only one who feel these kind of things about single life. So many creations on love has been seen but something like a tribute to single people never has been seen. Anyway love is beautiful undoubtedly but we must enjoy every moment of life with or without a lover. We must love ourselves. Cheers!!

This is really interesting. 😅💖
Gave me a big smile too.

Thank you! This was actually written just for fun.😁❤

Love is wonderful, but also complicated. I only really understood this, after I ended my first and only relationship so far. I think we should all give ourselves a chance to experience that thing called "love" and form a relationship with someone we consider the "right" person. The points you mentioned in your post really touched me:
  1. totally, sometimes someone smiles at you and you think too many things.....

  2. Everyone has platonic loves, I have 3 by the way.

  3. I have never given advice on relationships, but after personal experience, I believe that these should be based on sincerity and constant, respectful and fluid communication. You should always talk with your partner in a transparent way to avoid accumulating problems in your heart that may become more serious tomorrow.

  4. I don't know how to flirt, I'm introverted and it's hard for me to approach girls. I have to talk many times with the same person to get some confidence and even after that it is difficult. I think it's a matter of practice and being natural at all times.

  5. It's normal to want to have a partner, but believe me, it's not easy. If you want to get a partner you have two options: go out and look for one or wait for your prince charming to arrive at your door.

Note: If you go out looking, don't get discouraged if things go wrong. Always try to have fun and above all, be happy. If you want to wait, always remember to interact with other people. The less interactions you have with others, the less prince charming comes to your door.

I loved your post, I wish you a happy day @kashvibhagya.

Hi @leonelb, you have mentioned here very important factors for everyone from your personal experience and I admired that a lot.

The less interactions you have with others, the less prince charming comes to your door.

don't get discouraged if things go wrong.

Yes this is my other weaknes. Fear to comming out from comfort zone.

I read twice your reply and thank you for your honest and accurate advice. From now on I'll work on these things.😊
