Continuing our journey in Mannar...

It was the second and last day. We were to attend the Holy Mass in the morning. Anyway, I was the last one to wake up, and it was around 6 am. Little legs were moving around, starting the day. We attended the Mass at 7 am. It lasted for almost one and a half hours.

After the Mass, we stayed a bit longer at the church. There is a ritual where people go on their knees inside the church, and they have made a separate area for that. It is based on and done with our religious beliefs.

Then we gathered at the front premises of the church for a photography session. We took a lot of photos to keep as memories. After that, we headed back home to eat milk rice made by my aunties. I had to look after the kids too, as they were eating alone.

After having our breakfast, others started cooking our lunch. I changed my clothes, and we planned to go to the street where there are shops. It’s called "Kada Wiidiya." It was hard to mislead the kids, so we had to bring them all along. It was about 150 meters away from the home where we stayed, and along the way, there were monkeys.

I was the eldest of the gang, so I had to keep shouting all the time with my playful cousins. My mother wanted some stuff to bring to her workplace, so I focused on that first. Meanwhile, the little ones wanted lollipops. The lady in the shop had already handed out lollipops to them, which was really a bad marketing strategy. I could have given them back to the shop, but I wanted to have some space to look around. I bought one for each, and they calmed down.

After taking on that big responsibility, we headed back safely. After spending some time here and there, we packed our lunch and all the stuff. Then we started storing the luggages on the bus and inside. Afterward, we cleaned up, prayed, and departed from the Madu Church.

We were heading somewhere near the Madu Church where we faced an unexpected situation.
