Her Golden B'day

It was my mother's birthday. We pre planned somethings as I couldn't be at home the whole day. I was supposed to come home around 8 and that day I was late and came home around 9.

We had bought balloons and decos. As I was not at home and as I was getting more late, brother texted that he would pump the balloons and stuff. And also they had brought the cake around 6 pm and had hidden inside his room.

When I came home we decided to reveal the things to amma. It was hard to hide balloons while hanging them in the living room as amma was going here and there. Anyhow with the support of all of us we could make it. I was tried to talk with amma while giving the brothers some space to arrange the living room.

I couldn't decorate as I wanted to because I came home late and brother had done it as he could during that time. So I did let him do the rest to

And the above is the dog who lives in next door. He also had come on time as he knew something is gonna happen at ours.

My little cousin sister made a birthday card to her "loku amma". I supported her to do it as she is still small. I told her to draw something related to the birthday party. The below is what she drew.

After all, amma got surprised. There were the both of the sisters of my mother. Normally one of them live in Anuradhapura and luckily they had come here to get done their work. We had two little kids those were excited than anybody else. I should say the cake was the best.

It was a small gathering for amma's half the century birthday. We had a good time together and amma was happy with the gifts too. I think she got happier about our effort.
