My Visit To Colombo Port City

This is my very first post for 2022. I couldn't be in touch with steemit, because I had to go to school every weekday. Now again we have got a holiday time and I accept it with a big pleasure.

So many things happened during those time period. But as mentioned in the topic, I gonna tell you about my visit to port city Colombo. The idea gave by my punchi. I wanted a change instead of school and home.

But my mother told that she can't come with us. She gave me permission to go if only my big bro goes with us. It was hard to make his mind to go.

It's open from 9 am to 6 pm. We all knew that there's not much to visit for the public. But I badly wanted to go somewhere else. Finally, as we agreed went to Colombo by train on Sunday. There were only four of us, punchi, nangi, bro, and I.

It was around 10 am when we caught the train. When we got off it was near noon. We headed to port city by bus, there were a few passengers instead of us.

That time is a worse time to visit a place like port city, where there is no shade except a few trees. At first, we ate there under the trees faced to the beach. Tall buildings were everywhere.

My bro had his plans and didn't come inside the port city with us. He came with us to the gate only.

Nangi was happy to see that marine atmosphere even under the sunny weather. Actually behavior of the sun was hard to bear, so we sat down in shady places from time to time. There wasn't much to visit.

But the experience of a bit useless journey is also such a valuable memory, especially, as it is over now.

Anyway, we spent about 2 hours inside there. At first, we meet just like a walking lane limited with sea and trees.

Then there is a bridge and beyond that, it's inaccessible for the public. Upon the bridge, there is a curved shape creation. We could find a very cold, windy, and shady place under one arm of that curve. It's the best place I met there haha.

On the other side, it's like a desert.

Then we came back and my bro joined us. We walked in the Galleface. I have gone by passing Galle face, but it was the first time I went there.

There is an old bridge there too. We could see large fish in the sea from there. Nangi was the one who got excited the most.

It's good to be careful if going on that bridge as there were some places that were ready to break down.

Finally, we headed back home. This time we thought to come by a bus to Negombo. It was around 6 pm when we reached home. It was the end of our journey.
