Amazing Journey to Matale

Sri Lanka is a fantastic tourist destination, and every year many people travel to this island from all over the world. And this is the time to explore that beauty of this island. So for our vacation we selected Matale as our travel destination. It's a two day trip and we plan to use the public transport to go there after concerning about the budget. First we went to Kandy and we take our breakfast there. After taking the breakfast we again start our journey to Matale. After arriving to Matale we bought some important items and continue the journey to ilukkubura. Matale to Ilukkubura is a amaizing journey and I'm sure you can enjoy that view.

Ilukkubura village is our final destination of the first day. We spend that night there in a tent and it is new experience to me. Next day, we get up early in the morning and I couldn't believe my eyes. It is such a amazing view and I'm not gonna explain that but I attached below photo for all of you to get an idea.

After taking the breakfast we again start our journey and we went to visit a waterfall near that village, and after that we went to pitawala pathana. Pitawala Pathana is a grass cover spreads over an area of about 1000 acres. In there many endemic plants and animal species are found. So it is a very important heritage. Because of that we all have a responsibility to protect this place.

End of that day we say good bye to Matale and we finish our trip and come back to the home. But I want to say, I fell in love with the beauty of Matale in this trip. The views of the mountains and countryside are breathtaking. All the people we met are very friendly and helpful.

This is a wonderful place in central Sri Lanka and the land of spices on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka, there are many places to visit and enjoy, but I cannot cover all the places recommended to me, I visited Babara Kiri Ella, Pitawala Pathana, Mini worlds End and Riverston in this trip. So I invite and recommend all of you to visit these places.
