Family Is A Gift That Lasts Forever|Steem Sri Lanka 3G Contest Series| Week 10|The Place What We Ever Love is Family.

Today I am going to talk about My Lovely Family.At first Thank you so much my dear friend @thisarani96 for giving us the opportunity to join the competition in the 10^th week of the Steam Sri Lanka 3G Series with the theme 'Family is a gift that lasts forever'.

My family is one of the most important things in my life.From the day we were born,until now we learn a lot of important things from our family.And we learn a lot of valuable life experiences through the family.Actually, Family is the foundation of our lives.The reason I say that is because we start our life from our family.When we come into this world we bring nothing.As the days and weeks go by we grow little by little.We learn new things every day.We learn to speak.we learn to dance.We learn to wrestle.Today we are able to live as an independent human being because of the basic experience gained from the family in the above manner.That is why families are so important to us.

I have a beautiful family with five members.My mother.my father, my grandmother,my only sister and I are the members of my family.After my marriage, two new members joined our family.They are my lovely husband and my little son.

My Mother & Father

I give the most important place in my family to my mom and dad.

If we talk about my mother, her name is Ajantha Nilmini Ambawatte.She was born on 9^thof March 1968.Now she is 53 years of old.She does not go for a job.But she does all the housework.She is a house wife.She blesses us wholeheartedly for everything we do.She is the one who lifts us up by telling us her experience wherever we go wrong.

If we talk about my father, his name is Chandrasiri Morapitiya.He was born on 13^thof July 1962.Now he is 58 years of old.He is a business men.Even though he is silent, he is respected by all in the family.He cares more about us.He love us a lot.But he does not show us about it.That is his nature.He quietly blesses us with our work.Today we stand on our own two feet by the power of Dad's sweat and tears.

If we talk about our grandmother, her name is Sitha Manage.She was born on 13^thof Septeber 1939.Now she is 81 years of old.She is currently in a critical condition.She always blesses us with our works.

Sister is the most loved and attractive character in our family.Her name is Dilmi Bhagya.She was born on 28^thof August 1996.Now she is 21 years of old.She is currently serving as a Permanent Member of the Sri Lanka Navy at the Trincomalee Naval Base.Though she is far away from us, she is closest to us in mind.She is always in touch with us over the phone.Although sad about not being around,I am very proud of her service to the motherland of Sri Lanka as a heroic soldier.

This is the member who later joined our family.He is my lovely husband.His name is Pradeep Kumara.He was born on 24^thof December 1988.Now he is 32 years of old.He completed his service in the Sri Lanka Air Force and is currently working as a Designer.He has great respect for religion.As well as, He is very quiet, innocent, loving, and humble person.Everyone in the family loves him because of those qualities.He is the strength of our family except Dad.

He is the most beloved character in our family.He is my only son.He was born on 4^thof April 2018.Now he is 3 years of old.He is of playful age and keeps his family happy.He often addresses us with pet words.He has almost no time to be quiet.We do not feel like we are spending the day with him.

I am the elderest child in my family.I am 25 years of old and I have 3year baby boy.I make a big contribution to keeping the house clean and tidy and to preparing family meals.It is my habit to grow vegetables whenever possible.As a result of that,everyone in the family has the opportunity to eat vegetables without poison.Other than that, I spend most of my day with my little son.My main duty is to prepare the food and drink as he wants and work with him.

I work with him on painting, dancing, playing, singing, etc.Not only that,I give my husband the maximum support I can in my work.So I like to spend my time with my family.

I have the support of my family in everything I do.Everyone in the family spends time as friends.They are friendly to each other.My mom and dad give us the guidance we need in everything we do.They describe their experiences and teach us how to succeed in life.Not only that,They always take care of my little son with love. My husband is also with me as a shadow in everything I do.He is helping with me even when preparing food.

Every Poya day, it is customary for the whole family to go to the temple and observe Sil.And we all get meals together.We also used to go on holiday excursions.The above activities further enhance the unity and solidarity of our family.

About 6 years ago, my mother became seriously ill.The disease increased unexpectedly.The doctors were unable to diagnose the disease.Finally we prepared a 500 Medicinal drugs Pooja for the the Bodhi treeat the Mahamevna Meditation Monastery.We asked the Bodhi tree to cure my mother's illness.A few days after the pooja, The doctors were discovered that there was a tumor in the mother's spinal cord.After surgery we were able to heal our mother.Thas was the most unmemorable memory I have with my family.

The most difficult time we faced as a family was when our mother fell ill.It was a really difficult time.My mother could not do her mother's work alone.So I had to stay in the hospital with my mom.The family had to provide for the hospital as well as household chores.Even the family economy had plummeted.But we as a family faced that difficult time.

In fact, my family is very important to me.My family is my strength in all my endeavors.I have become a successful woman today, with the help and guidance of my family.So I love my family so much.My only wish is to see my family happy and healthy.
