Finding Reasons to Celebrate

We were checking for a purpose to celebrate and finally, Valentine's day came. I also had won a bet and my charge was a Buffet at Hikka Tranz. So yesterday we planned to visit Hikka Tranz for a Lunch buffet commemorating both things.

The day before we gave a call and took some details. They informed us that we don't have to make a reservation and asked us to directly visit and grab a ticket from reception. The Buffet opens at 12.30 p.m. We went there around 1.00 p.m.

Hikka Tranz by Cinomon is an old fashion, star range hotel located 600 m away from Hikkaduwa town. One welcomed us at the entrance and took us to the reception. Then we had to purchase a separate ticket for Buffet. It costed 4000 LKR per person. After receiving the token and tickets we walked to the restaurant.

The outter lobby had decorated with doodles. They are wired looking. ha haa

The restaurant wasn't that busy. When we enter, only 4, 5 tables were filled. Resturent located close to the beach. We also selected a table in the sea side view.

The buffet tables were also decorated with doodles that implies traditional devil faces. We started with the starter.

I have visited here before, but this time the Buffet wasn't that big. There were very few variation of food. But still we were able to taste and experience many new tastes. Comparing to my last visit, this time the buffet wasn't not that rich.

Deserts was my favourite part as always. I found that desert table is richer than main course ;P

Ice cream were also tasty :)

After enjoying food, we came out and spend some time in lobby faced to swimming pool. It was very relaxing to siting here by watching beautiful landscape.

Finally the photo time came. We didn't forget to take some photos to remember our 5th valantine's day celebration :)

While returning I gifted my hand made candle to him. I guess it will be a timely need because now a days electricity is not stable at all.
