Purchasing Kitchen Items at Pettah | Part 2 | Shop MUNASCO | Part 2

As I mentioned in my early article, we spend some time walking from shop to shop in Dam street. Initially, we spent some time figuring out the common price of items.

We had a list we prepared with every necessary item that comes to our mind. We kept electrical items aside to buy later.

Even in pettah, some shops had higher prices compared to others. First, we purchased items from different shops that we meet until we stop by the correct place.

We stopped by a shop called MUNASCO at Bodhiraja Mawatha. Actually, they had almost everything that we needed. We shopped only on the ground floor and first floor, but they had a second floor with electrical items as well.

The workers had a little difficulty of speaking Sinhala, but other than they put their best support us.

First I picked the necessary plastic bowls and plastic items. They had a lot of different sizes. I tried to pick everything from the green color as much as I could.

Then we purchased Coconut spoons, a wooden tray, and also a plastic tray as well. We purchased two plates for ourselves.

As we wanted some knives, we purchased three knives with a knife holder.

From their first floor, we picked some steel items like forks, butter knives, tin cutters, graters, and spoons. Their prices were comparatively low

We purchased 60% of the list from the shop and it cost nearly 13 000 LKR for items. I haven't mentioned all the items we purchased from this.

Their prices seem really reasonable and we were curious to find the finest quality items.
