Today I am going to share about my favorite textile shop where I purchase clothes most of the time. It is Spring & Summer. Spring & Summer Clothing Company (Pvt) Ltd an average scaled textile business founded by Mrs Shyamalie Wijegunawardena. It is very famous among girls due to the cute models they use for Facebook campaigns.
Let me provide you some basic information before giving my opinion about the shop.

Why I like Spring & Summer
01. Affordable
The prices of costumes are fluctuate between 1000 - 3000 LKR (5$-15$) where you can purchase good top for about 1500 LKR (7$) , a frock for 2500LKR (12$) and jean for 3000LKR (13$) in average. If you are looking for a dress not cheap nor expensive this will be a good place.
02. Quality and My Kind of Dresses
One of the major reasons I like the shop is, I can find my type of dresses that are charm and decent. There are many decent looking office wears and smart casual dresses. As I don't wear too fancy, this is the place where I can find a dress easily. The frock collection of S&S is very famous among girls. There is a separate floor for Frocks including party frocks. Frocks are also decent looking.
There are 3 sections for blouses, tops, and T-shirts, one floor for skirts, one for frocks. The range of jeans is very few. There is no large range of jeans.

The quality and finishing of the dresses are very good. Materials are good as well. Can use for a long time without damaging color and strength.
03 Friendly Service and Polite Sales Assistants
There are female assistants mostly but there are few boys too. The assistants are very friendly, they help when you ask. They sometimes help you to choose matching outfits for you. One special thing, they speak the native language well, so very easy to deal with.
You are allowed to fit on dresses. They help you again and again if the dress is not fit for you. They don't involve unnecessary and never force you.
04 Loyalty Member Offers and Credit Card Discounts and Vouchers
There are so many offers for loyalty cardholders. Christmas, Pongal, the Birthday offers, New year offers, Woman's day offers, etc.
These days they are giving discounts for credit and debit cards,

What are the Draw backs?
Basically, all outlets are scattered around Colombo. (Nugegoda, Maharagama, Wattala, Panadura, Bambalapitiya, Colpetty). They should be expanded to other areas like Galle, Kandy, Kurunegala, and Jaffna. Every outlet has a similar arrangement, same price, and culture which is good.
Dress variation is low. Even though they are good for my preference they don't cover preference of all.
