This Machine Saved Lots of My Time

Cooking was my nightmare when I was with my parents. I hated spending time in a kitchen for hours and most importantly the worst thing I saw at the kitchen was deep frying. I was really stressed putting ingredients into boiling oil which always pop out some burning oil.

Once getting married I realized that there are a lot of things in the market that make my life easier while cooking. The things I was afraid of were no more difficult. I have once shared about Air Fryer that we purchased a few months back. Today I am going to write about my experiences with the air fryer.

During the past few months, we used the air fryer frequently and I must say we didn't make a single deep-oil fried food during this period. All such foods were made using the air fryer. If I share some examples, we used the air fryer to fry Dried Sprats, Chicken, Fish, French fries and even Papadam. On the other hand, we tried cake, pizza and roasted bread as well.

All the things come exactly as same as oil fried and the main advantage is no or less oil. For some food such as potato and papadam, it requires like 1 tablespoon of oil to give the usual texture and color. But most of the food can be fried without using a single bit of oil.

The second advantage I see is, we don't need to keep watching the food until they get cooked. We can just set the temperature and timer and be involved in a different work until it rings the alarm. Eventhough it takes a little more time to dry the stuff compared to deep frying, the effort we need to put is almost 0 on this work.

Cleaning the fryer is also very easy. When using deep fry majority of people keep the remaining oil to use in a second time. This is not healthy and also takes up space on your pantry top. This is not needed when you use an air fryer.

The biggest disadvantage I see is the size limitation. Eventhough it has 4L capacity, the width of the cooking area is low. So we can't put a bigger cake or a medium size pizza there.

I must say an Air Frier will be the best gift for a newly wedded couple, especially for someone who hates deep frying just like me.
