YouTube Made Me Do This | 5% to SL-Charity

During the last few months, I was addicted to watching "packaging videos" on youtube. Packaging videos means videos that show how people pack their products. I loved how they use different papers and stickers when packing things. Continuous watching of these videos pushed me to try out this kind of packaging.

Recently there was a birthday of one of my nieces who turned 5. We decided to gift her some stationaries which she needs to take to school. Oh, finally I got a chance to try out youtube packaging inspiration. I went to the stationary shop with my brother and picked some books with cute-looking covers. Also, we purchased pencils, color pencils, and some other things as well. I requested for a box from the shop that I can use to pack all the stuff.

Once we came back home, I started packing. First of all, I had to cut the walls of the box and make it short. Then I pasted a wrapping paper over it to hide its print.

Now, it was the time to do what I learned from youtube videos. Ha haa.. First I put pink oil paper into the box. This was the underline layer. On top of it I arranged books.

Lower layers were books. But I placed fancy stuff on upper layers not to disappoint the girl. After books, I placed a jigsaw puzzle and then some sticker cards on top of it. Then I layed some colorful stationaries and two hair clips.

Once the basic things are placed, I closed the oil paper and pasted a sticker written "Happy Birthday" and a sticky note. This part I learned from youtube. :)

On top of this packaging, I spread scraped white papers. As the final thing, I placed two chocolates on the above book package. This will also make her less disappointed about our gift. Personally, when I was a kid I didn't like to receive stationaries like writing books. But loved to receive stickers, sticky notes, and cute stuff.
