Amigurumi Olaf | Olaf the snowman

Hello Everyone,

I am writing this post to share about one of my project that was not touched for a long time. “The project” in my dungeon. Yeah I have one in there. So, I decided to dust it out and start over and finish it little by little. One small part at a week.

This project I mentioned is an amigurumi Olaf. If you have watched the movie Frozen, you probably know the Olaf.

Olaf is the snowman who loves summer, beach and sun🙊.

This pattern was given by the instructor of our crochet class. I have started it so late but it is almost 5 or 6 months in a corner of my crochet work bucket. This amigurumi Olaf is one of the inspirations why I started amigurumi at first place.

In the first day of our course she showed it to us and I thought I will definitely do it. The cartoon character is also loved by myself. Even if I have started this project, I could only do the part of the head. Then I was distracted by many reasons.

First one among many reasons is, I gave the priority to small projects rather than finishing this one. When I get used to small amigurumis, I forgot this for a while. With the free time I had, it was easy to make small ones than doing a big one. Another reason is I had to do some trainings and get certifications for my job in this time period.

Once I remembered this project, I thought I should give it a shot since I thought of making it little by little week by week.

Then I have taken it out and started again. So he can sunbathe in my garden 😁 once I am finished with him.

At first , I have completed the head of the snow man.

At the end of first week after I started again, I could complete the middle part of the body of Olaf.

When it comes to second week, I completed the body and filled it with stuffing.
And now it is the last week… I have crochetd the nose, legs, hands and hair of it and assembled everything together.

This is how it looks at the end. I hope that everyone likes it. I will share the comparison of my work and my crochet teacher’s work below.

Please give me the feedback on how successful I am 🙊.

You are so talented. I can guess about the patience and creativity needed for these kind of work.

Thank you so much. Yeah sometimes fingers are hurting after making an amigurumi 🥺

He is so cute! 😍

I will share the comparison of my work and my crochet teacher’s work below.

For me, both of them look exactly the same. You are so talented. ❤️

Thank you so much.

Hi @rasinkani

We've noticed that you delegated some of your SP to steem-sri.lanka and we decided to reach out to you. If you're looking for passive income then we would like to offer much higher weekly dividents comparing to what you receive right now.

While steem-sri.lanka pays you for your current delegation around 7 steem per week, we could offer for the same delegation to @project.hope as much as 9-10 steem weekly.
Quite a difference, isn't it?

If you find it interesting, then consider trying us out with some small delegation first (500SP - 1000 SP).
You can also find out more details about our curation program here.

Cheers :)
