Happiness is graduating together | 5% for SL Charity

You may already know that the General Convocation of University of Moratuwa was held on 22nd and 23rd of December.

Convocation is a day that every undergraduate waits for. It is a big milestone. Not only for the person who has studied but also for their families. Every person makes their family proud. Every person has their own stories. Until the end, it is not an easy road we have to walk in. Walking in that difficult road makes easier by the people who lives around us.

Since the childhood I was not the very much hard working person but didn’t miss my goals because I had three big shadows who always there for me. I shouldn’t call them shadows. Shadow leaves us when it is dark, but they don’t.

My sister is always my inspiration. She always reminded me, that both of us want to be successful, so then we can be relay on each other, so both of us can make our parents proud.

Finally we did it 😍.

Coming into the topic, it is not me and my sister who graduated together 🙊. It’s Imantha and myself.

When we enter into the university, we didn’t knew each other. After we got to know, we had this dream of graduating together at the same day. But my heart was broken when we got to know, the convocation days are different for two of our faculties. Anyway, it is the same Ceremony. So it is still a “graduating together”.

He graduated on first day and I graduated on second day. We have planned to meet on second day and take a photograph from official photographer. At the end of the session he called me and told he came.

I was rotating my eyes to 360 to find him but couldn't. While I try to call him, he appeared infront of me with flowers 🙈🤭. What a surprise. I totally loved that.

We took so many photographs together. These are the memories for lifetime. Specially , this is his second time meeting my family. He has already won their heart.

There is one other person I wanted to graduate together with. It was a dream we had even before I wanted graduate with him. Thank you so much for the gifts love💖. I will tell that story later on…. Some other day…. One day!
