Hikka Tranz Day 1

I have told you before about our team outing last month . We tried to book other hotels first, but the rooms were already booked at the dates we wanted to check-in. That’s when we choose the Hikka Tranz for our outing.

Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon hotel is also located in the very same district I live in. In our team, only me and Ishara lives in the Galle district. So all agreed on this hotel.

When the days we choose were reaching, the rainy season was started and the weather was more than bad. But we had a little hope because the day before the trip, we had mild sunlight after few days of continuous rain.

Two girls of our team have not visited the Galle fort before, so the initial plan was to come early and visit the Galle fort and then check in to the hotel. Even if we met at Galle, we could not set a foot out, due to the heavy rain. Our two friends only had a vehicle tour around the Galle Fort.

At the check-in time, rain was slowing down. First and the most plan was to get into the pool.

Yeah! They did get in to pool even in that climate. But I didn’t. I choose to protect my hair over the fun. That’s because I have the experience of loosing lots of hair due to chlorine and due to salt water of sea. So, getting into a pool and sea bathing makes me think not only twice but hundred times. Rochitha and I have waited out of the pool. So we had to become their Photographers.

After about an hour or two, Imantha also came out. At that time, there was no rain anymore. So I requested him to go to the beach and take some photos. That was the wisest decision of the day. Others stayed at the pool until the sun is set.

Imantha and I have walked on the beach and took many photos and videos. When the Sun was almost set, Imantha took an beautiful photo of the scenery and there was a couple making that photo into a master piece. And that was the “Photo of the day”.
