The Best Event Which I Ever Joined | Steem Sri Lanka 3G Contest Series| Week 04 |5% for SL Charity

When it thinks about events there are so many and every single one of them are so memorable it is because we always have the people, we love with us. We had concerts in our preschools, primary school and all. This event is one of best because it is my first experience on a stage when I was in secondary school.

It was year 2009 and we had a new auditorium opened at school. So our English teachers decided to hold a talent show on big new stage. Exciting... isn’t it? We have 10 classes per each grade in our school. So every class got one item to perform. Then we had to decide which we will perform and get permission from our English teacher. Now everyone is so motivated and started to search about items. We decided to do a drama in that way many people can participate.

So we used our library to find a story and we had to create a script by using the story. Our story was “Twelve Dancing Princess”. It was a story based on twelve princess and what happens after their mom, the queen died. How their new stepmother treats them cruelly and plans to take over the kingdom.

After script writing we began practicing the drama. We used every period that a teacher is absence to practice it. It was very fun to go outside the classroom and practicing our dialogues and our actions. I didn’t have many lines in the drama but we were enjoying it altogether. We don’t have many photographs from the event. There are only few we got from the photographer and some parents on the day of talent show. But some of those are not in the best quality.

Then it came to the most important part for girls 🙈. Deciding on our outfits. It is no doubt princesses need beautiful frocks. So we found party frocks everyone had and made little crowns using flowers. I was little bit afraid before I go on to the stage and I was Thinking about whether I will be able to stay calm when I see the audience. Anyway it went well because we were together and all of us are friends in a same class.

This event is something that will last in my memory forever. A experience with sweetness of friendships 🥰.
