Our school vacation started two weeks ago, and I already miss my little students so much. Every day at school was filled with joy and laughter, and now it feels so quiet without them.
I used to arrive at school at 7.20 a.m. every day, ready to start a new day with my kiddos. The first thing we did together was participate in the morning religious observation. It was a peaceful moment where we all stayed calm and focused, starting our day with positive thoughts.
After that, I began teaching them English. It was always so much fun. I loved watching their little faces light up when they understood something new. To make learning enjoyable, I sang songs with them. Singing together made the lessons lively and filled the classroom with happy voices.
We also played games during the break times. Seeing them laugh and enjoy themselves brought me so much happiness. They were not just my students but like a second family to me. I cared for them deeply and loved every moment I spent with them.
Now that the vacation has started, I miss all those little things. I miss their smiles, their curious questions, and even their playful mischief. It feels like a part of my day is missing without them around.
I am looking forward to the day when school reopens, and I can see their cheerful faces again. Until then, I will cherish all the memories I have with my wonderful kiddos. They truly make my life brighter.
Life seems to be uneventful when we are too used to their mischiefs.
