SITE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS BEFORE NEW YEAR VACATION | A BUSY DAY AT PETTAH | 5% TO SL CHARITY

Hello everyone… Hope all steemians doing well. This week is a busy week for me. So many things happened during this week. I went on a motorbike camping tour, I drowned in the river & able to survive and finally, suffering from fever. Because of the coming festival season, my construction site has been decided to shut down for nine days. Before the vacation started, we had to arrange several precautions. Among them, I was assigned to check the CCTV camera system at the site premises. Then I found that some cameras were didn’t work properly. I stated them to the project manager & he asks me to get them repaired or installed the new ones. Then I checked with the CCTV camera supplier to repair them. But they were not in a repairable manner. Another thing is, this supplier doesn’t have any camera to get done the replacement also. So, I informed the project manager & he gave me permission to get quotations for a new CCTV camera system. Then I went to the Pettah by a three-wheeler. I asked him to park the three-wheeler at Malwaththa road car park until my works get done.

Busy Streets Due to Festival Season

Then I walk into 1st cross street & went to five CCTV camera dealer shops to get quotations. There I was realized that the camera types, brands, working radius, view depth & some other factors directly affected the price of the camera system. So, I got several quotations from the same shop for different types of cameras.

After getting them all I walk towards the fort railway station. During my walk, I got some photographs of the busy streets of Colombo.

I called to three-wheeler driver & ask to get me. Then we headed to my construction site & submit those quotations for approvals. The project manager says that he will get approval within the next day to purchase a selected one among those quotations. Now it was time to get my lunch, but the time was 4.30 pm. so I missed my lunch & dreamed about having a good meal for dinner.
