Hello everyone... From the beginning, until today I told you the stories about my experiences & the speaker of them was me. But today I'm going to tell you a story which the speaker was not me. The speaker of this story is my wife. After our marriage, we went to a rent house with my father. The reason for settlement in a rent house was our jobs. At that time I was working at Borella & my wife was working at Horana.

But my wife had a dream to start her own business in the apparel production category. She was working as a fashion designer in a reputed apparel production company & she had more than two years of experience related to this field. Not only that she had a lot of contacts with the wholesale agents of the apparel industry. By using her experiences & the contacts which she had we were able to start a small apparel production factory at our rent house.

At that time we had some saved money & we invested them in her business. We purchased brand new sewing machines for the business. Until that time I was thought that every machine which used to sewing are same. But after a visit to purchase machines I learned that there are several types of machines for sewing. We brought them from the Maharagama area & they gave us a discount when purchasing. They promised us to deliver them within a day with a technician to assemble them. According to their promise, they delivered them in the evening & technician assembled them & gave instruction about the operating methods & service periods.

After Assembly

We were very happy on that day because we are taking steps forwards to our success. My wife's father also with us on that day. He also very happy about that day & we got a surprise dinner from him, to celebrate this happiness.
