Dragon fruit is an exotic fruit cultivated in all over the world. It's specially found in tropical and subtropical region. The fruit plant is a cactus so it's doesn't need lots of water like other fruit plants need. It's also a short time growing plants as the fruit need just 50-55 days from flower initiation to fully ripe.
As we know flower need pollination so that they can forming the flower into fruit. There are insects specially the bees 🐝 are good polinator. Pollination can also be done by the wind flow. But as we know dragon fruit's flower only bloom at night so we need to pollinate them we our hand and it's called hand pollination.
You just need a brush to do the hand polination. Rub the male stigm gently with the brush and you found the yellowish pollen on the brush. Then put those pollen on the female part witch is rise above the flower like a stink 🏒.
