It was just 2 weeks left for the commencement of #thediarygame season 2 when I joined Steemit. We were stuck in our homes due to covid-19 pandemic at that time. All the universities in the country were closed.
My friend Harith and his girlfriend @randulakoralage invited me to join with this amazing platform and motivated me to join #thediarygame season 2. Not many active Sri Lankan Steemians were here at that time.
We could make a team with 5 amazing Sri Lankans with different talents. They are @randulakoralage, @anusha96 @dinoli, @randula99 and me.
We selected a team name @steemceylon and I drew a team logo using Zentangles. It was exiting from the beginning. We published some trial diaries before the commencement of the game.
Though we got busy with academics in the middle and in the end of the game, I think we did a great job there. Many Sri Lankan Steemians also joined with Steemit after this. I think it is a one clue of success of this program.
However at the end, me and my friend who was the motivation and guidance to our team @randulakoralage could win #thediarygame season 2 and were able to be in the list of 25 winners of the season.
It was not just a game. But it helped me to write down my best memories of final year university life, hostel life and all. So, this will be a life time memory.
I am very much thankful to those who helped with this. Love from Sri Lanka. 😍😍
