ENG vs IND 3rd Test : Great Comeback From Englishmen | 5% for SL Charity

After the Test World Championship Final, India stayed at England for 5 match Test Series. So the series started on 4th August. The first game was on the hand of India but rain saved England at the Day 5. But the rain didn't cause that much for the 2nd Test match. England Bowling was terrible. It was an easy win for India.

So England team and Joe Root was in immense pressure. The selectors were questioned. So several changes had to be done in playing 11. And Yesterday, England was able to taste the victory due to those changes.

James Anderson's bowling partner, Stuart Broad was replaced by Craig Overton. And Rory Burn's opening partner, Dom Sibley was replaced by Haseeb Hameed. But he was in the playing 11 and he failed to get going in 2nd Test. But he was given a chance. And it's Dawid Malan who got the chance to make a come back to playing 11 after 2 Years..

In last matches, Kohli lost the toss but this time he won it and decided to Bat First.. and it was a bad decision. India was all-out for 78. Only Rohit Sharma and Rahane were able to get into Double Figures. James Anderson was excellent. Almost took a Hat-trick. Craig Overton took 3 Wickets proving Selector's decision was right.

Then the England innings started with the new openers.. Rory Burns and Hameed Haseeb batted throughout the first day scoring half-centuries and made 135 runs in 50 overs as their first partnership. That was the base. Then as always, Joe Root was great to watch.. and scored yet another Century. Dawid Malan scored 70 runs proving his excellence. Others weren't that great.. But hey.. they scored 432 runs for their 1st innings.

Indian bowlers wasn't tight as they were before. Ishant Sharma bowled so many loose deliveries. I don't think he'll play for the next match. Mohammad Shami was brilliant... took 4 Wickets. But it took a bit of time to stick to a good bowling length.

So the action of two innings ended within almost first two days of play. England had a lead of 354 Runs which is A LOT.. And India get 3 days to deal with.. And English phasers lead by James Anderson bowled brilliantly with the new ball Sharma and KL Rahul showed a great resistance towards them. But KL Rahul got out from the last ball before Lunch Break.

Then Sharma was joined by Pujara who wasn't in form.. however found the middle of the bat well. After a Half-Century partnership, Sharma got out for unlikely LBW... just clipping Leg Stump.

Then came the Captain of Indian Team, Virat Kohli who wasn't successful throughout the series... and he somehow blended with Pujara and played well in the Evening session of the 3rd day.

So.. yesterday was the 4th day of the match. Pujara and Kohli came to the crease with high hopes. But the New Duke Leather Ball didn't let them settle.. Not only them... also the rest of the Indian batting lineup. The last 8 wickets which was left, fell down within 63 runs at the Morning session.. giving England a Victory of an Inning and 76 Runs. That's a huge win.

We all remember.. Ollie Robinson was a Victim of Media when his Twitter History was found.. But now.. they are praising him for his performance. He took a Fifer at the 2nd Innings.. taking 7 Wickets totally in the match.. and named as the Man Of The Match too..

Series Highlight..

Next match will be the Series Decider.. The 4th match will start on 2rd September. We all see an improvement in England team but not in India.. There's still time for India.. to learn from their mistakes and shine with a series win..
