When a tech company tries to explore a new category, they start with a top-notch product. After a few versions, they try to understand where to make cost-cutting to have a balanced product for average people. That's what Vivo did here. Now, they are with a budget Tablet.

The Vivo Pad Air Tab, announced on August 2023, quickly made its way to the market, offering a unique blend of features that serve to both productivity and entertainment needs. With its large display, powerful processor, and versatile stylus support, it aims to provide a well-rounded tablet experience.

Weighing 530 g, the Vivo Pad Air Tab is built with a combination of glass front, aluminum back, and an aluminum frame. This design not only offers the tablet a premium aesthetic, but also adds to its durability. Its slim profile and relatively light weight make it comfortable to hold and carry, improving its portability.

Powering the Vivo Pad Air Tab is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, built on the 7nm architecture. It's now a couple of years old but it does the job. The octa-core processor and Adreno 650 GPU setup ensure that the tablet can handle demanding tasks, including multitasking and gaming, with ease. The device is available in configurations of 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage, as well as 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB of storage. The UFS 3.1 storage technology further enhances app loading times and overall responsiveness.

On the front, there's a 5 MP camera that serves well for video calls and selfies. This tab is not for photography. But it does cover the basics.
