In June last year, we saw the OnePlus Nord CE smartphone which was mostly like a downgraded smartphone of OnePlus Nord. And recently, OnePlus announced the OnePlus Nord CE 2, and let's see what does it going to bring to customers.. SRC

Actually, it's sad to say.. these types of smartphones literally remind me of one thing which is " The Old OnePlus is dead". This Nord CE and Nord CE 2 are very much identical.. There are almost no upgrades over the last year's version.. Nord CE 2 and Nord CE

The cameras are the same..64MP Main Sensor and others.. I think the display is also the same... Same 6.43 inch, 90Hz AMOLED display.. It has the Same plastic frame. A slightly bigger chin is still there on the front. Bigger Chin

But the back design is a bit different. It has no separate camera bump. It's designed just like Oppo Find X3 Pro. That's the only physical difference I saw. SRC

Talking about the internals, that's where we can see some differences. The processor has been upgraded from Snapdragon 750G to Mediatek Dimensity 900. It's not that much of an upgrade though. The other thing is the charging technology. Both Nord CE and CE 2 have 4500mah batteries but Nord CE 2 support 65W Charging while Nord CE is limited to 30W. SRC

So as you can see, it's a boring device. Not much of an upgrade from its predecessor. And it cost more. So it's no-brainer to buy a Nord CE 2 if you really wanna buy a OnePlus device in this price range. Just buy Nord CE and you'll be just fine..
