Hello Everyone !!!

Usually If I read a book or watch a movie or TV series, I wanna finish that task quickly. Because all are full of curiosity. That is the nature of most of us. But I did the opposite of that recently. So guys, I'm gonna share about that with you. It's a book I bought last year from BMICH Book Fare. As you saw from the thumbnail, it's name is "Throwaways" by Ian Strachan. It has translated by Muditha Herath and has put the name as Natuwen Gilihunu. The author has written the story based on street children.

The main character of the story is Sky. She is a eleven years old girl and she has a younger brother. His name is Chip. Both of them have been abandoned by their parents. Then the Sky determines to take responsibility of her little brother and do something to survive. But unexpectedly their destination is the city's garbage dump. Automatically they are turning in to street children. Dig is the boy who helps them a lot. He teaches them to how to survive.

The story flows very beautifully around their lives. Sky's character is a good example to everyone because her character is full of encouragement. The way her brother Chip helps to Sky is also good example. Because he is a little boy who is passing the age of playful mind. In such a situation he helps to her sister to survive their lives.

While I read the book, I felt that even though this is a story, beyond that there are so many street children in real. I feel so sorry about them. Every child is a pure hearted flower. They need to spread their fragrance to the world. World is developing day by day. But still some sides are pathetic. The author gives this feeling to the readers successfully.

Sky wanted to always move away from that miserable life. Because she knew that there's no future if they live in that slum. The story ends giving new life to them. I wish if this book had a second part. Unfortunately it is not like that. After a long time, I read a beautiful novel.

This story reminded me of that award winning indian movie which I can't recall the name of it. Seems interesting.!💜️

Is that Village by the sea?

It's good that the kids in the book got a happy ending because not many get such a happy ending in reality.

Of course yes nanga..😊
