Ha. Ha... my friends, do you like to eat instant noodles? Why not we all enjoy eating noodles? it is a common eatable food item underneath instant food product. It is also a well-known food in today's society.
Because it is an instant food, it is especially useful for those who live a hectic lifestyle. I know that most students who boarded in a boarding house relied on easy-cook noodles for every meal. Hikers, too, rely on noodles for sustenance while on the trail. Employing parents, because they are busy in the morning, mostly prepare these instant noodles for their children's meals. Therefore, both children and busy adults are now addicted to these instant noodles, which come in a variety of flavors.
Today, I'm going to show you a side of instant noodles that many people haven't seen before. The main difference between instant noodles and regular noodles is the flavor packet. Those instant noodle packets have two or more flavor packets.
Because of the business of housewives and the strong preference of small children for instant noodles, busy housewives frequently put a packet of cooked noodles in their children's lunch boxes. Instant noodles are considered junk food by nutritionists. Excessive flour, salt, oil, and other additives in instant noodles are the cause of this. These instant noodles contained artificial additives such as acid regulators, flavor enhancers, and preservatives. Many of these additives contain sodium. Adults in Sri Lanka can only use a maximum of 2000 mg (one teaspoon) per day. But, some of these instant noodles contain more than 2000 mg of sodium in one packet. In this way, consuming too much sodium raises the risk of serious diseases such as high blood pressure, stroke, kidney damage, and cancer. One of the leading causes of kidney disease, particularly in small children at the stage of kidney development.
A type of vax is used to keep the curls of instant noodles from sticking together. These vaxxes are absorbed by our bodies and deposited in the liver and kidneys, causing damage to these organs.
Did you know that MSG is commonly used to enhance the flavor of instant noodles? Long-term exposure to MSG from food causes various allegories such as chest inflammation, headache, memory loss, and excessive thirst after eating instant noodles.
Because noodles are high in carbohydrates, they can cause diseases such as obesity.
Now you can understand that even though we enjoy eating noodles and they can easily prepare, the danger sequence is high. In developing countries like Sri Lanka, which is rapidly becoming Westernized, the consumption of instant noodles is increasing day by day. This has a negative impact on children's nutrition and self-esteem.
If this occurs, the number of cancer patients, heart patients, and obese people in our country will increase tomorrow. As a result, let us understand the situation and take steps to avoid this dangerous enemy known as instant noodles.
