Goodbye my little guest.

When I opened my front door, I noticed a new guest. He came running up to me and climbed on my leg. I was really surprised when I saw him at the dawn. I knelt and picked him up; he was a very lovely, well-fed baby squirrel. I yelled at my husband, showed him, and told him about the incident. He said that he must be a relative or a friend of mine from a former life. According to him, that is why he came to the doorstep and climbed my body.

I felt that he was hungry because he sucked on my finger when I put it in his mouth. I wondered how can he come to my doorstep. He needs food now, so I must give him some milk to drink. I ought to feed him some infant milk since he's still a baby squirrel. But, my house has only Vitagen and Pelawatte, both are very heavy for this baby squirrel. So, I asked my husband to go to the boutique and purchase me some baby milk packets.

He bought a Lactogen Classic No. 01, an item designed for babies up to 6 months old. To feed a squirrel, I used an old nasal dropper bottle that I had. Then I thoroughly washed it in hot water.

I first made a small amount of milk and fed the squirrel's mouth with that tube. He inhaled the milk in the tube, looking like he was doing it before. He drank all the milk in the tube since he was hungry from last night.

I summoned my son, who was living closer to my house, as soon as I had him in my hands. After hearing the story, he rushed to my house with his wife. My son is very kind to all animals and creatures. When they first saw the young squirrel, they were both delighted.

She held it in her hand and gently massaged its head with her fingers. My son pointed out that he seems tired, so let’s give him a chance to sleep. My son and daughter asked to look after the baby squirrel and carried it home. So, we handed it to them, with the packet of baby milk. I had to say goodbye to my little guest, on behalf of my son’s happiness.
