Last week we initiated Plagiarism Bounty | 50 STEEM Reward Pool in order to have an unbiased check on plagiarism of the Steem Sri Lanka community. We were successful upto a certain level and @mato445 reported the community looks clean. We still want to make sure whether the community is plagiarism free.
So, we are announcing another round for the plagiarism bounty.
Following areas need to be covered
- All pending payout posts of #srilanka
- All pending payout posts of Steem Sri Lanka community.
You can select one of them and we appreciate if you can report plagiarism as soon as possible. We have reduced the number of bounty hunters for 4, hence 50 STEEM will divided between 4 hunters.
Rules
Please do unbiased checks on all posts with pending payouts in above sections.
Please make sure the posts that you are checking are 1 day old.
You MUST NOT reveal your findings in public. If you find any plagiarized content, please drop a comment indicating only your telegram or discord Id and mention @damithudaya.
Then we will reach you within 24h and you can explain your findings.
If we are okay with it, we will give you a document to update and from our end we take actions against the post.
Once 7 days are completed we will distribute STEEM upto your contribution with votes on any existing post.
This bounty is valid until 30th of April 2021.
What Kind of Actions We are Willing to Take
- Warning with comments
- Removing existing rewards
- Mute the plagiarized post
- Mute the user
- Send the data to @endingplagiarism for further investigations
What We Return
We will divide 50 STEEM among 4 hunters upto their effort with votes. Please make sure you follow all the given rules.

Excellent initiative, it would be interesting to include or make by the srilanka team a unique informative publication about what is plagiarism and what is considered plagiarism in steemit, so that new members of the communities know it and can participate in the bounty hunter and reach to earn the reward.
