How are you guys? First of all I would like to say that everyone should stay home safely. Today is a very important day for Buddhists. Today is the Vesak Poya Day which is celebrated annually in the form of a great festival. Most of us Buddhists celebrate Vesak Poya Day with great fervor.

So guys I'm been looking at my fingers for over a year and got ready a week ago. I love making Vesak lanterns. My mother-in-law cut ten bamboo shoots from the fertile little bamboo plants she had planted. During a friendly conversation with my husband, he asked me how much I could make. I said I would make about six Vesak lanterns. So I eagerly started working. It's hard to work a little with my daughter. He pulls bamboo trees there. They also take reeds and run. I was afraid she might cut off her hand.

While doing homework, baby work and husband's work in a balanced manner, I made Vesak powder day by day. Anyway, the work was done on the Vesak Poya day as well. So guys, here are my handmade, pasted, beautifully decorated Vesak lanterns. Thought to build more but could not finish. Beautifully finished, looking at the cage was really heartwarming.

It is more fun to make and paste a Vesak lantern with your own hands than to paste a Vesak lantern template to buy from a shop. Candles were lit and hung inside the Vesak lantern. But the rain continued to fall. Maybe the Vesak lanterns will get wet. all right. That is what has been tried to teach the Buddha's philosophy. That's what the trilogy is for short. Impermanence nature, suffering and no self- inherent entity. Let me make a little explanation. Impermanence nature means everything changes. Suffering means that everything that changes is misery. No self- inherent entity means that if everything changes, if everything changes, there is nothing that is mine.

Today it is not possible to go to temples to perform religious rites. Because of the current corona epidemic, we are unable to leave our homes due to restrictions imposed by the government. So, with the cooperation of everyone in our family, we celebrated Vesak from home by performing religious rites from home.

Thanks for visiting. Have a nice day all.

Your lanterns are beautiful. We bought Vesak lantern structures/ Frames from outside and glued them with various colours tissue papers and crapes. We stuck some beautiful designs on large squares in dark colours. We had some issues when arranging tissue papers because some of those structures are not symmetrical😂
Next time hope to start early and have 100% homemade lanterns.

Thanks @champikawije65.yes,thats good.
