What is the elevator?
Elevator = Lift = It’s like a car carry passengers or goods vertically in different floor levels in multi-story buildings.This is consisting with amazing mechanisms.You can find history of elevators through below link: http://www.elevatorhistory.net/.
I will give simple diagrom of the elevator to identify basic parts.
In our construction site, consist with 04 nos. of passenger elevators and one service lift as design. now elevator installation process is going on.
Service elevator installation process have been started before 02 months period and now it is having final testing stage. It’s installation work done by AG Melco elevator company and brand is world famous Mitsubishi. However, I got a chance to move from ground floor to 28th floor from top of the elevator with two technicians in AG Melco while they are testing the service elevator. It’s nice experience to me. I took small video while moving. You can find it below.
This service elevator is very smoothly moved to the top and maximum load is 08 numbers of passengers or 1000 kg goods.Inside of the elevator cage you can see through below photos.

Machine room area - This is the heart of the elevator. it's consist with main pullys and operating motor.
Safety systems, safety limits and easy operating systems are available in that elevator. These elevators are design considering different situation in multistory buildings. Other thing is we want to know about safety precaution while moving through elevators.
