Happy Anniversary Steem Sri Lanka! ♥️🥂 | 5%For SL-Charity

Hello Guys!

There's a special day coming in near future for the Steem Sri Lanka Community. That's SSL's first anniversary. There are so many important and special things that we all want to celebrate in life. This anniversary is also one of them.

I heard about this platform from Praveen and I joined Steemit on the 30th of January 2021. After I joined Steem Sri Lanka. Since then I have been able to become a member of this. It's been 8 months now.

After I joined here, I learned a lot of things and I'm still learning. I must tell you that they're so many creative writers in here. I see lots of meaningful content every day. Every one of them brings something to learn.

Sometimes, when I read someone's writing I am amazed if anyone could be so creative. I wondered how someone could line up words that beautiful. This is a place where someone can learn to be creative, develop writing skills and language skills and gain knowledge as well. I know that I'm not a creative person but I always try to be one whenever I can.

I got the opportunity to organize a contest in the SSL contest series. It was Family Is A Gift That Lasts Forever | Steem Sri Lanka 3G Contest Series. I have been wanting to do a contest for a long time and with everyone's help, I was able to do it successfully.

Most importantly, I was able to organize the SL Charity Phase 3 - Project Anuradhapura with Praveen. I always admire the SL Charity as it lightens someone's burden. We could help so many needy people even for a while. It proves that we can do great things with the small contribution of everyone.

Since the day I joined this platform, almost all the articles I have written, have been written in the SSL community. When I get feedback, it makes me write more. And writing more makes a better writer. Sometimes, when I read my articles, it makes me feel "oh, this is better!". Day by day I get a little excited about that. The other thing is I got to meet new friends. So far I have achieved 1200+ sp. All thank goes to the SSL.

Steem Sri Lanka is like a family. The special thing I saw was that everyone here was helping each other. Everyone here today has been able to come this far not only as an individual but also as a community because they helped each other. That's the strength of SSL.

This is a bit long because I have written a lot here. But this would be incomplete if I didn't write a word about the community's biggest strength. SSL as a community has achieved a lot today. The reason for all those achievements was the right leadership. And there is no doubt about that. So I take this opportunity to thank Randula for all of that and for guiding everyone.
