As I stepped into the school premises, the creepy quietness surrounded me. It's totally different to the usual nature of students rushing through the hallways. I was there to conduct seminars for the grade 10 and 11 students. They are on the edge of facing their O/L and A/L exams in the first week of May.

During the holidays, our school feels empty. It's really like a ghost town. No students roam the halls, no teachers give lessons. But as Monday nears, things change. Teachers come back, classrooms get tidy, and excitement fills the air. I think students also may eagerly wait for Monday. Because they can see friends again. I remember how excited I was when I was going to school. Getting ready to go to school starts about a week before school starts. But when school starts, not wanting to go is a different story!

When Monday arrives, the school comes alive. Laughter fills the halls, books open, and everyone feels hopeful for the new term. As days pass, the school becomes busy again. So, goodbye to the quiet holidays. Hello to the lively school days ahead. It’s time for the fun, learning, and friendships to begin again.
