My Favourite Cartoon || Steem Sri Lanka 3G Contest Series || Week 03 || Favorite Cartoon: Meena

Greetings friends of Sri Lanka
First of all sorry for this late contest entry as few hours left for time end. @ashen99 Thanks for arranging this beautiful contest for we steemians who still love watching cartoons or animated films even after leaving the age behind. Today I'll share about my favorite cartoon which was broadcasted in our local television channel name BTV which means Bangladesh Television. Let me share more about the cartoon I loved, still loving and will love to watch.

Meena was a cartoon which was not only for entertaining kids but also made for social awareness as South Asian people had so many superstitions and discrimination between boys and girls, dowry system and so many social issues need to be fixed so UNISEF sent valuable messages via this cartoon character Meena or via this animated cartoon.
Now I'm going to answer questions regarding this contest. Those are -

• Name your favorite cartoon: The name of my Favorite cartoon is Meena
• Which channel did it broadcast on? Long time ago in 1993 it was first broadcasted in Bangladesh Television (BTV) but I have watched it in 1999 as In 1993 I was a toddler. According to wikipedia Meena cartoon had 37 episodes and those were with very beautiful messages and moralities.

• who is your favorite character and why do you like that character?
Meena was my favorite character as she was a good girl and she was brave too. She protests against the injustice in our society even she was a little girl. She convinced her parents for her study when parents were not ready to send girl child to the school.
• How many days a week did it broadcast and how many hours a day did it broadcast?
Several years it broadcasted and repeat telecasted in channels. As I said that Meena had 37 episodes so far and those are:

• How old are you when you watch that cartoon?
I was around 7 or 8 years old when I watched this cartoon for the first time in my own language Bengali.
• Do you still enjoy watching that cartoons?
Yes I still watch this cartoon and last year for covid-19 one new Meena Episode were published which I've watched in social media but I still like Meena cartoon in my days.
• What are the good things that you learned from the cartoon.?
As I mentioned this cartoon was made for social awareness so this is a great thing that we can learn things from this cartoon or animated film.
