Hope Volunteer's Volunteer Programme 04,

It's 2022.Wish all the community members and all others a happy happy new year.Wish your all dreams come true in this year.As the first three days of this year was busy for me I was unable to write anything for Steem Sri-Lanka.So today I'm going to write my first article of year 2022.

School Accessories Distribution Programme

This is the fourth programme that we have done under Hope Volunteer's Community members.This is our biggest project.we have selected 150 students that who are required school accessories.We had a procedure for select the students for this programme.As our members are from different villages,We informed them to select the poor families in their villages.As planned we found 150 students that who required school accessories.

So the first part is done.Next is to prepare the list of accessories that we need.

800 Books
150 Pencil cases
800 Pencils
400 pens
150 school bags
150 school shoes
450 erasers
300 CR Books

So those are the things we need mostly for this function.Before a month we started collecting accessories for this programme.This time we planned not to collect money,so we decided to collect accessories this time.So mme and my girlfriend donated 80 school bags for this programme.As planned everything went well.We were able to fulfill the required accessories within three weeks time.

Here comes the packing time.So for this we choose our friend Sadun's home as it is close to city.So we know that it will take two days for packing.As that we decided to pack the accessories before four days for the programme.

We had prepared an agenda for this event.

8.00 a.m. Student registration

9.00 a.m. Programme starts

9:15 a.m. Lighting the oil lamps

9:30 a.m. Welcome dance

9:45 a.m. Welcome speech

9:55 a m. Introducing our community speech

10:15 a.m. western Dance event

10:30 a.m. Books distribution starts for 1st set

11:45 a.m. Comedy act by two members

12:15 p.m. Books distribution for 2nd set

12:40 p.m. A speech by V.I.P.

12:50 p.m. Thanks giving speech

13:00 p.m. Event ends

We had decorated the hall for our event.We choose Bandarawela Municipal council's hall for this event.We had this programme on 22nd of December.So on the 21st we had a meeting as usual.We know that everybody is keeping their eyes on this event.So we must not do any mistake at the event.

So the day has come to the event finally.Everybody was there in the hall at about 7:30 a.m.So we had arranged the packages in order and in a easy way.

Now it's 8:00 a.m. student registration has started..Registration was done at 8:50 a.m.

So we started our programme sharp at 9:00 a.m.

Hopefully nobody has done a single mistake in this event.The event was successful.Students and parents are so happy.

We had gifted everybody a plant so as they can grow that in their home garden.We are so happy to see students laughing.Their faces says that we have done a great job.
