HOW TO DRAW WITH SCRIBBLES! (FOR BEGINNERS).

in hive-135004 •  19 days ago  (edited)

Hi , I have tried to draw a circle in the shape of a ball using the scribbles technique, which you can see in the picture below. Along with it, I have also included some steps of making this drawing in picture form. I only had a Blue Ballpoint pen available, so I used that. Please share your thoughts about it. Did I succeed in making it according to your guidance? I look forward to your feedback.
Thank you.

Hi, @rashid001

Are you sure you've never drawn? 😉🤣
Did you draw remembering a sphere or seeing a model?

Great work. As a practice, I think it's excellent. Congratulations.

I think it loses depth because of the amount of shadow you use around the circle, which flattens the sphere instead of giving it three-dimensionality. Making it look like a hole instead of a sphere at times.

The color of blue on white 😍 Your doodles are amazing, although they look a little tired from one side..

Your observation is absolutely correct. I did darken the shade on one side. And I said that I had never used this technique for drawing before, although I have made a pencil drawing of a sphere before, whose link I am sharing below. The scribbles technique is completely stress free, and you have to move the pen freely. I liked this style of drawing very much. And I thank you for your encouraging words.

I like it, such a perfect ball but I wonder about the scribble technic since there are different methods.

Don't you like to make a post out of it to be noticed more?
I wonder about the light fall (light spots) on the ball and the shadow.

Good luck friend.
🍀♥️

P. S. I wonder what your son would draw.
The pen looks great

I truly appreciate your kind words about my drawing! 😊

It was a thoroughly thrilling experience for me. I'm eager to see more entries from others and believe that those who regularly create drawings should try this style. After all exploring new ideas is the best way to expand our knowledge.

Perhaps you can invite someone? I wonder about the doodlers 🤔

Yes i would like to invite @caringmanasseh , @arinaz08 , and @zisha-hafiz to explore this new art ( Scribbles technique ).

This is quite lovely!
Beautiful attempt!

Thanks 😊 for your lovely and encouraging words.

You're very much welcome.
