When looking for a website to find out the BPM for a song, I stumbled upon GetSongbpm, a website where you can look up any song that's been released and it will tell show you its bpm. Besides the tempo, you get a score (from 0 to 100) for "danceability", "energy" "acousticness", & "liveness". It also suggests similar songs, which is very cool.
This website might be handy for someone who wants to cover songs by other artists. For me, the more interesting feature is a tool they call MP3 to BPM: you drop an audio file and it will show the bpm. Very handy if your song is not by a well-known artist (or if it's your own). And no need to download any software to use this, which is exactly what I'm looking for.
