It happened that one night I said to the boy who used to herd goats with me in upper Mecca, why don't you look after my goats and I go to Mecca and participate in the nightly storytelling gathering there like other young men.

He said, "Okay." After that, I left and had just reached the first house in Mecca when I heard the sound of a lute. I sat down to listen and Allah Almighty closed my ears and I fell asleep. Then my eyes opened only when the sun rose and I went back to my companion.

When he asked, I told him the details. After that, one night I said the same thing again and reached Mecca and then an incident similar to that night occurred and after that I never had any bad intentions again.

It is narrated in Sahih Bukhari from Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) that when the Kaaba was being built, the Prophet (PBUH) and Hazrat Abbas (RA) were carrying stones. Hazrat Abbas (RA) said, "Put your apron on your shoulder, it will protect you from the stones." But as soon as he did so, he fell to the ground. His eyes were raised to the sky. As soon as he woke up, he called out, "My apron. My apron and your apron were tied to you."

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was distinguished among his people in terms of his virtuous character, virtuous manners, and generous habits. Thus, he was the most virtuous, the most well-mannered, the most honorable neighbor, the most far-sighted, the most truthful, the most gentle, the most pure in soul, the most generous in good deeds, the most virtuous in deeds, the most faithful in promises, and the most trustworthy.

Even his people named him Amin, and as is the testimony of Hazrat Khadija (RA), he used to carry the burdens of the needy, organize the hungry, host guests, and help those in need.
