I hope you all are doing well.
Last night, i stayed up until around 3 am working on some assignment and i finally got to bed at around 3:30 am. I woke up at 5:30 am did ablution and offer my Fajr prayer. There is something so peaceful about the early morning hours, the quiet and the stillness. It is the perfect time to reflect and recite the Holy Quran which i do every morning. It was a beautiful and spiritual start to my day and it gives me energy and focus.
After that i submitted my assignment, which i had thankfully completed the night before. That always feels like a little victory to submit the assignment before the deadline.
By 7:30 am i started getting ready for class. I made sure everything was in order before leaving the house at 8 am. I reached there by 8:45 am. When i arrived, i noticed something unusual, the gates were still closed. A long line of students had already gathered, both girls and boys, waiting for the gate to open. Normally, the gate opens by 8:30 am but today, for some reason, we had to wait until 9 am.
When the gate opened, the line starts moving i punched in my attendance card and settled on my seat in the classroom. Our class started at 9:15 am and everything seemed like a regular day.
At around 11 am, something unexpected happened. I heard some girls shouting and it turned out one of the students had fainted due to the intense heat in the classroom. Everyone was trying to help her but she was not waking up. It was a bit of a chaotic scene as people rushed to get her some water and air. Eventually, the faculty called her parents and she was taken to the hospital. The whole situation was pretty worrying but thankfully she is fine now.
Because of that the class ended a bit early today at around 11:30 am instead of the usual 12 pm. I called my father to pick me up and by 12:15 pm, i was back home.
When i reached home i took a break and spent some time relaxing and using my phone and watching reels, one of my favorite ways to relax. After that i had lunch at 2 pm. The day was not over yet though, i had to attend my cousins Ameen ceremony today which meant ironing my clothes and preparing for the evening. I ironed my clothes and then i was feeling exhausted and sleepy so i decided to slept at 4 pm.
After a refreshing nap i woke up at 6 pm, washed my face and started getting ready for the event. My father dropped my grandparents at my phopo's house before we headed to the event. We reached there at around 8:45 pm. The atmosphere was full of joy and it was great to see everyone, especially my cousins. We cousins took lots of pictures together and had some good conversations, catching up on everything that is been going on in our lives.
My cousins recited some Quranic verses, marking the special occasion for the Ameen. It was such a heartfelt moment and it made the event even more meaningful and beautiful. After the recitation everyone give gifts to my cousins and sweetened their mouths with sweets which is a beautiful tradition.
Then i took a few pictures of my little cousins. They looked so adorable, running around and enjoying the event.
Afterwards we sat down to enjoy a delicious dinner. The food was amazing and it felt great to be surrounded by family. After some more talks and laughs, it was time to head home. We left the event and reached home by 11:15 pm.
But when we reached home, we realized that my grandparents had not come back yet and they had the keys of the house. So, we waited outside the house for about 10 minutes until they arrived but thankfully they were nearby at my phopo's house so it did not took too long for them to get back home. We finally got inside and after a long day it felt so good to relax.
Your prayers and support mean so much to me and i appreciate each and every one of you.
