I hope you are all doing well!
Yesterday i started my day as usual at 6 am by offering my Fajr prayer and reciting the Holy Quran. It was a peaceful and good start, just how i like it. After that i opened my laptop to finish reading the novel i had been immersed in and was eager to complete it. After reading it i did breakfast. Then i cleaned my room and slept at around 9 am to recharge for the day.
When i woke up at 1 pm, i went straight to care for my parrots. I changed their water and made sure they had plenty of food. Later my mother was busy cleaning out the refrigerator so i joined her to help her in cleaning. After that i offered my Zuhr prayer and recited some Surahs.
By 4 pm, my tuition students started arriving and i spent the next couple of hours teaching them. Their exams had just finished the day before, yesterday was their last exam so i gave them a break and let them go early at around 5:30 pm. They were happy to get some time off after all the hard work they had put in for their exams.
Later on our renter's little daughter came over to our house to play with my sisters. She often comes to the tuition along with her siblings and she always calls me "teacher" even outside of tution. It’s really cute. Yesterday i was sitting and using my phone when she came up to me, holding a decorative flower piece and asked, “Teacher, can you take my picture with these flowers?” It was such an adorable request that i couldn’t say no. She was so excited and i couldn't resist capturing her happiness. Seeing her joy made my day.
After that i was working on my laptop and she came back to me again, this time with the sweetest cute face, saying she wanted to watch cartoons. She was making such adorable faces that my heart melted and i immediately put on her favorite cartoons. She was overjoyed and sat there watching them, completely immersed. Moments like these remind me of the innocence and joy kids bring to life.
One funny incident came to mind while spending time with her that still cracks us up. One day this little girl wasn’t listening to her sister and was misbehaving so my mother jokingly warned her that we would call "Aka Baka". Ever since then she has become a little afraid of this imaginary figure 😂. Her mother once told us that while she was coming over to our house, she asked her mother where she was going. When her mother said, “I am going downstairs” she replied, “Are you going to the Aka Baka wali aunty’s house?” We couldn’t stop laughing. It’s become a running joke now 😄.
