This morning I woke up, performed the Namaz, recited the Quran and then lay back down to sleep because today was a holiday. It was Saturday and I did not have to go to university so I had the day off. On my days off my main task is to catch up on sleep so as soon as I lay down I drifted back into the valley of dreams.
When I woke up it was 12: 30. I got up, freshened up, and then made breakfast. My mom had already kneaded the dough for rogni parathas. Mom made the paratha and I made the egg according to my preference because I wanted a fried egg but half fried I don’t like fully cooked yolks at all.
Mom told me to cook it at my own risk so I made the egg then had breakfast. While making and having breakfast it was already time for the Zuhr prayer so I performed Zuhr.
Mom was preparing lunch and asked me to make custard for after the meal because there was a lot of leftover cake in the fridge. Mom suggested I layer the cake in the custard to make a nice dessert and enhance its flavor. So I layered the cake in the custard and added something extra Sooper biscuits.
I garnished the custard with Sooper biscuits as well and put it in the fridge to cool.
After lunch I took the dessert out of the fridge and it turned out to be delicious though there was only one bowl of it but we enjoyed it nonetheless it was really tasty.
After that I sat down to study for a while. After finishing my studies I went to the rooftop for a bit.
When I came back downstairs, my brother was eating "sew". I tasted it and it reminded me of yesterday when my friends and I had sew outside JPMC. Those were not that great but they were definitely better than the ones my brother was eating. I asked him What are you eating? There’s no taste in this..
I can make better sew than this or we could have bought popcorn they would at least be fresh and salty.
Anyway we argued for a bit over that tasteless sew, but these little arguments are a part of life and they add a little spice to our daily routine.
