My younger brother has always wanted me to buy a light football for him so that he can be playing it with his friends. I have always wanted to also buy it for him but my money is used for more important things like my foodstuffs in school and some of my books. I have promised to buy the ball for him and he has been waiting for me to fulfill my promise.
Few weeks ago I decided to surprise him, we were going to the church and I noticed he was still staring at the balls in the supermarket but he kept quiet because I told him I will buy it for him in the beginning of February. I have already decided to buy it for him once we come back from the church that day.
When we came back from the church we headed straight to the supermarket and he kept on asking why we were going there, I told him I want to buy some groceries. The footballs are outside the supermarket near it's entrance door and he stood there staring at the balls while I went inside to get some groceries and I also paid for one of the balls, he wasn't aware yet.
I came out from the supermarket with one of the young girls working there and we were removing the balls he was surprised and asked if I just wanted to touch and see how the balls are and I laughed out loud, he pointed the one he wants me to buy for him in February not knowing I was about to buy it that moment. We took it and the girl arranged the balls then I gave it to him and shouted Surprised!!! He was so shocked, he hugged me and took the ball happily then we went home, till now he's always with the ball and he sleeps with it at night 😂
