Me visiting Durga Pandaal

Jai Maa Ambe 🙏
I am Rashmi Sharma, this is my picture of last year 2023, when I had gone to visit Navratri with my brother and sisters, I am from India and every year in India, the festival of Navratri is celebrated with great pomp and joy. In this festival celebrated for nine days, nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped, And Vijaya Dashami is also celebrated on the tenth day, it was on this day that Lord Shri Ram killed Lankapati Ravana.

This is a picture of Navratri 2023, when I had gone to the Navratri fair with my family, there were colorful lights everywhere, pandals decorated with different types of art, looking at them it felt as if I had entered a different world. Although its beauty looks unmatched even during the day, but the night view is a different matter, we all like to visit at night because there is a lot of traffic during the day.

At night, lights and crowd and chanting mantra and aarti create a divine environment. Everyone is overwhelmed in this environment. There are amazing vibes these days. Everyone feels so much joy and happiness. Every house organise pooja of Mata Durga. Roaming in various pandaals and receiving prasaad is favourite job of small kids. We all enjoy very much during these holy days.

My sister enjoying Bombay mithai in mela

To be honest, I like the festival of Navratri very much, even though I have grown up, seeing balloons or toys being sold in the fair still gives me a feeling of childhood. We have a fort ground here, people also call it Ramlila Maidan. Because Ramlila is organized here every year during Navratri, In our childhood, we and our sisters used to go to fairs with our father, we also see children with such sad faces around us, who look like they have so much helplessness in their minds, as if they are speaking openly. I wish our life was like a fair, full of colours, full of happiness, We should not yearn for anything. Seeing all this hurts the mind a lot, it comes to my heart that I wish I could do something for all of them.

Now in 2024, Navratri has been started but people start visiting pandals from Saptami and so do we. This time also, there is a lot of arrangements and beautiful decoration of pandals. First day is quiet calm but next day becomes full of rush. Crowd is considered to be a parameter of successfulness of the arrangements. So thank you for reading my post. Keep enjoying the days.
