If you are a computer science student, you know that setting up the environment for any new programming language on your laptop is the hardest and most frustrating task 😩. Even though there are thousands of videos available for this work, problems always come up somewhere 💻🔧.
Well, I have been stuck in this problem for 2 days 😩. I was setting up the React Native environment, and it was such a hassle First of all, I really dislike things that take a lot of time to download ⏳. The same thing happened to me with the applications they were so large, in gigabytes, that it took me the whole day just to download them 😩. A few days ago, my laptop had issues, so I had to refresh it completely, which meant I didn't have much data left . Even then, the setup took a long time to install.
I encountered a problem where my Android Studio emulator was not turning on . Oh god I tried so many methods, like specifying file paths, increasing memory, and adding various things. The biggest issue was that the packages were not installing, and there were no version updates 🔄. Every day in computer science, things are advancing so much that it feels like I will have to change my laptop every year or just keep increasing the memory .
Well, after a lot of struggles, I finally got the emulator to run . But problems do not get solved that easily . I faced issues where my proper files were not showing up, and no changes were reloading. After a lot of struggle, searching, and setting things up, it’s finally all set! Seriously, I find this to be the worst part of the process 😤. I spent my weekend putting everything on my laptop, and now starting tomorrow, I have to work on my final year project (FYP) 📚. Ah, I wish I could just get my degree without having to do an FYP .
Anyway, I spent a lot of time today on my laptop and setup.
That's all for this post, thank you❤️❤️
