A Step by Step guide to Power Up Steem for Newcomers | Powering up my all Steems

Steem power is actually the power of the user on the Steemit platform. It allows the users to do the transactions like upvote, down vote, posting, commenting, and transfers. It is very important for steemians. They can earn curation rewards just by upvoting other steemians.

This is the Steem power which is counted while the determination of the club status. So it has importance at each step and it contributes at every step of Steemit.

Today I am here to share a step by step guide to power up your liquid Steem to Steem power. Many new users do not know the meaning of liquid steems and the staked Steems in the form of Steem power. So before diving to the steps I'll discuss both the terms.

Liquid Steems: These are the Steems which are available in the wallet and they can be transferred anywhere at anytime without any wait. They do not have any lock up. We can move them freely.

Staked Steems/Steem Power: These Steems are the locked Steems which we convert from liquid Steems to Steem power. They have a lock up period of 4 weeks. If we want to withdraw them we need to unstake them by powering down.

Now I'll tell you how can you convert your liquid Steems to your Steem power to increase the control and worth of your account.

Here you see my Steem power before the power up. It is before converting my liquid Steems to Steem power.

Here you can see the liquid Steems in my wallet. Currently I have 24.286 Steems. These are the liquid Steems.

I selected to power up all my steems by selecting the power up option from the inverted drop down menu of Steems.

Here we have to confirm the amount of power up and the respective account where we are powering up. And then click on OK. It will take some time and the transaction will be processed. In this way the liquid Steems will be converted to Steem power.

Here you can see that my Steem power has increased from 1956 to 1980. So my Steem power up has increased.
